Senior Lecturer Emeritus Robert L. Farnsworth passed away on Nov. 11, 2024, at age 70. Rob Farnsworth received a B.A. from Brown University and an M.F.A. from Columbia University. After teaching at SUNY Binghamton, the University of California Irvine, Ithaca College, and Colby College, he was appointed to the Bates faculty in 1990.
